A beautiful Sunday at Peninsula Oiler's Park

An old baseball player enjoying a very good ballgame, lots of action, good plays, bad plays, all a part of the game.

The ball field was in beautiful shape and the grounds and stands were clean and well cared for. One major thing I noticed was the lower volume of the speakers and a wonderful choice of music of old timers, Roy Rogers and many songs which we could tune into. The singing of the National Anthem by a young man who gave a wonderful rendition of it.

From years of playing and watching ball games, I am very proud of the young men who are here representing the Oilers in our town.  I saw some very fine young baseball players working hard at the game I so dearly love.

There are always  some people with noise makers who when making slapping noise with children's toys who do not show respect to other spectators, but I guess a person just hast to try and ignore them.

I am hoping for the very best for the ball team and plan on seeing a few of their games. Also thanks to the sponsors who have put much effort into promoting this ball team.
