Library grateful for volunteers

These days it is rare to have a volunteer willingly accept a difficult job. Mike and Jimmy Painter volunteered to put a new metal roof on the Ninilchik Community Library’s 50-year-old auxiliary building which now houses the Peddler Gift shop. We are very grateful for their excellent and timely work doing this project. They did our snow plowing at a reduced rate last winter, too. We also appreciate the special consideration from the Homer branch of Spenard Builders for their assistance.
