The students and staff at Nikiski North Star Elementary would like to say “thank you” to the following organizations that contributed to or participated in the Nikiski Community Heath Fair on Aug. 18: ABC Pregnancy Care Center; Brown’s Carpet Cleaning; Central Peninsula General Hospital; Curtain Call Consignment Boutique; Encore Dance; Frontier Independent Living; Frontier Services; Girl Scouts; Hair Stylists – Priscilla Jones, Carolyn Lopez, Cathy Taylor, Julia Stanley and Jessica Phillips; Legends Dental; Lighthouse Community Church; Lori Peikert; KPBSD Child Find; Kenai Public Health; Mary Kay Consultant – Tami Johnson; M&M Market; Nikiski Clubhouse; Nikiski Community Council; Nikiski North Star PTA; NNS Site Council; North Peninsula Rec Center; Pam Lashley; Peak Oilfield Services; River City Cheer; Safe Kids; Wal-Mart.

Over 200 free backpacks with school supplies were given out to enthusiastic students who visited the Heath Fair booths that day. Wow, what a day! Thank you again for making this possible for our community.
