Quilters contribute special gifts for children

The LeeShore Center sends our sincerest thanks to the Kenai Piecemakers quilting group for the beautiful handmade quilts they recently donated to our agency. This is an annual event we all look forward to and is a gift that keeps giving all year round. This year the quilting group donated 61 quilts in addition to a pillow case! Each child residing at our emergency shelter and transitional living facilities gets to choose their very own special quilt. We are able to see the impact their kind gift brings to the many children we serve each year. It’s a joyful event to behold and so appreciated!

So many thanks to Margaret Goodman, Ruby Windsor, Pat Kissee, Sarah Waechtler, Sheila Holtzen, Myrna Davidson, Donna Tomlinson, Sue Bowen, Ruth Gillespie, and Jean Douglas.

We are deeply appreciative for all your support and generosity!
