Longshoreman strife affects Alaska

What happens when the Longshoremen are told by their union to go on strike?

There will be no milk for the babies of Alaska. I find that quite alarming.

I think the Governor has money to throw around, like giving tickets for people outside of Anchorage to support a basketball tournament. I think that you could find things daily that the Governor promotes which could be better applied to something like ensuring milk for the citizens of Alaska. I am very curious about all the High School sport teams traveling to the Lower 48 to play out there. That is a very expensive operation I am sure. I realize that poor operations contribute to the problem of the dairy and make them unable to reimburse the state.

The opinion of this Old Timer, born at the bottom of the Great Depression, is that politicians really don’t care that much about the citizens.
