It does indeed make a difference

Posted: February 4, 2013 - 11:22am

In my world of 80-plus years, I have never been so embarrassed by a representative of the United States Of America. And to think that we have had millions of service men spent service time of two or more years at a wage of around $140.00 a month during the Korean war, 24-7 duty to have a person make reference to 4 Americans serving the United States in very dangerous service as “What difference does make” that they are dead. And this person thinks they have presidential ambitions. I have bad dreams of what the future might be for my children, but we have lost the America that I was born into.

You Are Dead Wrong Sir

If Paul Morrison is talking about Hilary Clinton's testimony before Congress, he is way off base. Sec. Clinton did NOT say "what difference does it make" that 4 U.S. embassy employees were killed in Benghazi, Libya (who were NOT in the armed services).

Here is what she actually said.
"With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk last night who decided to kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, Senator."

So Mr. Morrison, quit making stuff up!

Selective understanding

Mr Morrison indeed ignores the point of the Secretary's statement, which was not that we should not care that they are dead, but rather that we should prevent this happening again for whatever reason.
Reading comprehension is not always easy particularly for the elderly; listening to the radio is easy , as is watching TV . When those are the only places your information comes from, and it is extremely biased information, opinions like this result.

I watched the live coverage

I watched the live coverage of this event and never got the same impression that Mr Morrison did. I am wondering where Mr Morrison got his info from? Rush Limbaugh or perhaps faux news?

Hillary Clinton has done a tremendous amount for her country. There are those that wouldn't be happy no matter who was doing the job.

Liberal media

You could just listen to all the Liberal shows for balance. If there were any.
