Hospital Career Day a great day for KPBSD students

On March 6, students from across the district attended a Hospital Career Day (HCD) at Central Peninsula Hospital. The event was organized to highlight the myriad of occupations within a hospital setting.

Students attended sessions on Diagnostics, Therapeutic, Medical Information and Environmental careers. Hospital employees shared their passion and commitment to their chosen occupations. In addition, they provided students valuable tips on how to prepare for careers in a hospital setting.

The event was sponsored by Central Peninsula Hospital and KPBSD Career and Technical Education department. Thank you to the HCD committee members and the hospital staff for their efforts! Debi Honer, Human Resources Director at the hospital, was key to the success of the event. A special thanks to Fred Meyer, Three Bears and Walmart for providing the lunch for students who attended the event.
