No parity in paychecks

When an older person has nothing to do, but “sit and think” weird thoughts can happen. I was looking at the prize list for the Iditarod, and my imagination took over. $50,400 and a new truck to the winner Mr. Seavey, while on a sunny weekend in Florida, a golfer made about $1.5 million for 4 days of play. Now I have played sports all my life and know how difficult the game of golf is, but it does not compare to feeding and training a dog team in winter, running a team at night at 30 degrees below zero while most training for golf is in the sunshine.

Baseball, football, basketball players play during their season for $30 million, plus or minus, a year, while a musher works all year around feeding, and training a kennel of dogs.

We also have the same problem with big companies paying exorbitant salaries and bonuses beyond any common sense or logic. Our country has gone completely crazy about dealing fairly with any cause. We have a country run by a “Teleprompter” and the greatest question in my mind is who is putting the words on that machine? I have some pretty good ideas, but I cannot express them. Having one Depression under my belt, I do not have to worry what the next one has in store, but I am very sorry for the multitude of people who have no idea and are not thinking about when it is going to happen.
