Support makes Region III Soccer Tournament a kick

This past weekend, Soldotna High School hosted the Region III Soccer tournament. Although this tournament is hosted by the school, it really does take an entire community to make it a successful event. The weather may not have cooperated like we would have preferred, but never the less, we had a great weekend of soccer.

Soldotna High School and the soccer programs would like to give a special thank you to the following sponsors, donors, volunteers, and people who went out of their way to make the tournament happen. The City of Kenai and Bob Frates for the use of the Kenai Soccer Complex, ConocoPhillips, The Duck Inn for all of the help in housing officials, Airport Rental, Peninsula Internal Medicine, Lambe, Tuter & Wagner CPAs, Orca Theaters, Soldotna Chiropractic & Therapeutic Massage Clinic, Eyewear Express, Peninsula Pumping, Coca-Cola, Dominic & Betty Kuntz, Dr. Jay Rohloff, DDS, Kaladi Brothers, Kenai Riverbend Resort, Northwest Designs, TDS Construction, Strieby’s Guide Service (Alaska XXL Fishing), Fred Pollard and Pollard Wire, Tesoro, Three Bears, and Sav-U-More.

I hope that I have remembered everyone, but I apologize if I have missed anyone. A huge thank you as well to Tammy North, Leanne Abendroth, and the parents of the Soldotna High School Soccer teams, who put in countless hours to provide a hospitality room, concessions, and working the numerous other responsibilities at the tournament. We are lucky to have such a great community of people and businesses!
