Great support, great bike rodeo

We were grateful not to see snow today for bike rodeo. Kaleidoscope School is incredibly fortunate to have so much community support making the Bike Rodeo memorable, as well as educational. The students learned about bike safety from Kenai Police Officer Alex Prins, had helmets checked or purchased from Nurse Jane Fellman with Safe Kids, and enjoyed riding bikes on the course. In addition, The Bike Shop provided volunteers to tune up students’ bikes, and the Moose Lodge cooked hotdogs from IGA for the entire student body. Kaleidoscope PTA provided lunch snacks. This event could not have been possible without volunteers. Special thanks go out to the following terrific contributors; Officer Alex Prins, Nurse Jane Fellman, The Bike Shop, the Moose Lodge, and Kaleidoscope PTA. Last, but not least, I would like to thank the parent volunteers.
