Torch Run support appreciated

Special Olympics volunteers and Central Peninsula law enforcement would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the 2013 Law Enforcement Special Olympics Torch Run in Kenai. We especially want to thank the local Wells Fargo employees who volunteered their time to help facilitate the event. We would also like to thank Kenai McDonalds, Kenai Safeway, Polar Screens, and Aspen Dental Clinic for their contributions that helped make the event a success. We also appreciate Merrill Sikorski and KSRM for help with notifying the public of the event. Finally, thank you to all of the 64 runners, walkers, bicyclists, special Olympics volunteers, law enforcement volunteers, and to individuals/businesses who made a donation. You once again made this event a tremendous success for the Central Peninsula Special Olympics athletes, who will travel to Anchorage to compete this summer.
