Salmon part of prosperous economy

Posted: June 14, 2013 - 9:25am

The association of Realtors objections to the protection of our salmon streams are short sighted. Salmon are very important to our economy and a prosperous economy is essential to a healthy real estate market. Perhaps an even bigger problem is that they have misrepresented the situation in the post cards mailed to our citizens. If realtors are dishonest in this situation how can we trust them to honestly represent us when we sell or purchase property?

C'mon, stop being obtuse

The Association does not object to protection of salmon. Is it possible for you to be any more dishonest? I have not heard the Assoctiaon of Realtors, or for that matter any other gruop or individual, opposed to the ordinance say anything of the sort. What they have said is that they object to what amounts to a Government taking of private property. Initially without even a notice to the affected property owners.

How can that not be viewed as wrong?

Crooks Call Themselves Realtors

I have NEVER met a trustworthy realtor. Ever. They are backstabbing, greedy, very snobbish, and will sell your own Mother's house right under her feet. I place them with lawyers in my crook file. They border the file I call "craven".

Lighten up on realtors; they can't sell anyone’s property without permission. The blanket attack is just silly, as many fine, loveable and worthy people are realtors. Saying any group is all "crooks" is wrong and I feel sad for your limited view of your limited world. I do think you could love a realtor if your heart was not darkened by something that causes you to label and file an entire group so negatively. It is just as wrong to blast all commercial fishermen as (pick your adjective). The issues are the point of the message not spurious accusations about professions.
