Support helps family coping with cancer

Accolades and gratitude to the kind and generous Kenai Peninsula community who provided love, support and encouragement to The Oftedal Family! Over the past few weeks through the Soldotna Middle School’s Pie Auction, the Cash Raffle, the Wild Salmon BBQ/Musical Evening, Silent Auction as well as the many individuals funds were raised to assist the Oftedals through this challenging battle with cancer. Special thanks to Bridges Community Resource Network, Inc. who provided covering for financial accountability, use of their gaming permit and credit card machine, and even more importantly the pointers and advice for successful fund raising. Also thanks to Sportsmans Warehouse for their input on fundraising events and donations. So many friends pitched in to make the various events happen creating the atmosphere of love and encouragement for the Oftedals. There are not enough words to express the appreciation!
