9 pooches find homes during 'Igitadog'

The Kenai Animal Shelter recently held an Igitadog Adoption Fair at Home Depot on September 7th. During this event and with the help of our volunteers and sponsors, we were able to place 9 dogs into wonderful homes. We would like to sincerely thank Home Depot and Crew for being our host for our First Annual Igitadog Adoption Event! We would also like to thank our sponsors, Burger Bus, Kenai Feed, KSRM Radio, Coopers Wounded Bear Farm and Kennels, Kenai Veterinary Hospital, Ultimutts Grooming, Soldotna Animal Hospital, Tarma Grooming, Twin Cities Veterinary Clinic, Kenai Kennel Club, and Peninsula Dog Obedience Group for their donations to our adopting families in support of this event. We would also like to thank Peninsula Spay Neuter Fund for educating the public on how they can help to end the needless and preventable overpopulation of pets in our community.
