Dominionism a threat to democracy

According to reconstructionist R.J. Rushdoony, Dominionism founder, Dominionism/Reconstructionism is God’s plan for a theocratic Christian America. He states (1) Christianity and democracy are incompatible, (2) America must become a Christian theocracy and (3) Mosaic law and courts must be established.

This is beyond ignorance or stupidity; this is insanity! Given the horrific record of theocratic government, no “enlightened, thinking parson” could advocate a Christian theocracy. That all religions (and the various denominations of religion) buy in, hold hands and sing kumbaya, “praise the lord”? No, this ain’t happening. How about a civil war? You think Afghanistan/Taliban is a mess; try a Pat Robertson/Jerry Prevo dictatorship!

Dominionism isn’t “black helicopter” crap, it’s real and growing. Proselyting conservative/fundamentalists are busy. By the way, folks who might have an issue with this screed: the screed probably ain’t your real problem. (But have a nice day.)
