'New' field dedication an honor for family

On August 17, the “new” football field, at Kenai Central High School was rededicated. It was named Ed Hollier Field many years ago because of his efforts and time spend improving the quality of education and sports for the schools on the Kenai Peninsula.

The Hollier Family would like to thank all the individuals, from legislators to the construction personnel who helped contribute to this beautiful sports complex. It was a very special day and an honor for my family.

A special thanks to Dale Sandahl and Kenai Mayor Pat Porter for their kind words spoken about my parents, Edward and Joanna Hollier.
