Teens need to care

I would like to say something to your teen writer and her last story. I understand that kids need to be kids, I just think that because they don’t care is why there is so many troubles with teens now days. When I was a kid you respected and cared what your parents thought or you were taken out behind the wood shed. I have raised 5 children and 3 of them are step-children. One of them is my nephew who was placed in my home due to abuse from both parents! I think if children cared a little more these days there would be less drug abuse, less crime, more kids that finished school. I don’t have that many rules in my home other then have respect for others, keep your room clean and keep good grades, so for the most part they are very well behaved kids. I remember being a teenager and thinking I knew everything and what is good for me and my mother and father were stupid, but then I grew up and realized I had it all wrong. So if more teenagers now days cared things might just be better!
