Workers should be asked to cut back, too

In all fairness to the American Citizens, the mathematical wizards in Washington D.C. have made a decision that people on Social Security have only had a 1.5 percent increase in 2013 and that would be the payment increase in 2014, even though we paid into this plan all our working lives with increases in deductions from our pay checks to cover any shortages as they appeared. Fair enough. So, if we have to cut back again on everything we buy as we did last year, maybe the unions and all other workers should take a little hit and do the same thing. That would sure make a whole bunch of our working friends scream to high heaven how they are getting the shaft. Fair is fair so please give it some thought.
