Family grateful for return of missing dog

Living in Kenai over 30 years I have witnessed on many occasions where the community has come together and lent a helping hand to people in need. It happened once more when my son’s dog went missing after a fatal t accident, people who didn’t know him or his family came out to help find the dog after hearing the story. Family, friends and strangers spent four days searching, didn’t care if the weather was bad or when darkness fall upon them. They searched the subdivsions, woods, up and down streets, people left food and blankets out in the hope that the animal would be located. On the fourth evening a stranger located and held onto the dog until it was picked up by family, Twin City Vets provided care. Once again the people of Kenai and Soldotna came together and helped a family in need and all deserve a big thank you for all that you did to bring a member of our family back to us.
