Letter to the editor: Thank you for Thanksgiving dinner support

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the individuals who made our Free Thanksgiving Dinner happen again. We couldn’t do it without all of you. Thank you to Felix and Pam Martinez, owners of the M&M Market in Nikiski for generously donating 12 turkeys again this year. Thank you to Vi Hancock for spreading the word and your love for the people in our community. Thank you to all those who donated pies, they were delicious; I think I sampled quite a few of them. Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to take deliveries and join in the glorious kitchen chaos; Elizabeth, Lou, Michelle, Bill, Kiana, Delilah, Sam, Tracy, Josh, Heidi, Brian, Heather, Kaleesha, Denee, Sara, Jessica, Hope, Shelina and John, if I forgot to list anyone I apologize. Each year we have new faces who add such an important piece to the puzzle, thank you. And last we would like to thank all of you who came out to spend the Thanksgiving Holiday with us, seeing all your smiling faces enjoying the feast makes it all worthwhile. There is nothing that makes Steve happier than seeing people enjoying his cooking.

Thank You and God Bless.
