Soldotna schools thankful for support of families in need

The Soldotna area Schools (Tustumena Elementary, K-Beach Elementary, Redoubt Elementary, Soldotna Elementary, Sterling Elementary, Soldotna Middle, Skyview and SoHi) would like to thank Soldotna Elks Lodge 2706 for their generous support of our families in need programs. The Soldotna Elks purchased five $250 Fred Meyer gift cards for each of the above schools, ($10,000 total) to help support our families in need during the Holidays. Forty families will have a special Christmas because of the hard work of the men and women at the Soldotna Elks Lodge.

The Soldotna Elks Lodge also put together $25,000 in scholarship money which will be given away on Wednesday, Dec. 18th to the Great Soldotna Elks Lodge 2706 region. Our senior students moving on to some form of higher education (Vocational, Trade and/or College programs) will be given the extra support to live out their dreams thanks to the Soldotna Elks! Special Thanks to the Soldotna Elks Lodge 2706 for playing an important role in our schools and in our community!
