Applause for Thanksgiving community meals

I would like to send a huge thank you and shout out to “Charlie’s Pizza,” in Nikiski, whom on Thanksgiving day provided holiday meals, free of charge, to those able to be on site or have their dinners delivered to them, some 200 meals, the owners Jen and Steve Chamberlain, their sons, Everett and Charlie, their staff, Tracy, Heidi, and many others who volunteered their time to this community outreach, well done! The leftovers provided dinner to the firefighters also, I for one was deeply touched by their generosity! Love it!

Who knew this to be an ongoing event, for 5 years I’m told, thanks, to all concerned, you efforts were enjoyed and appreciated.
