Library benefits from Pick.Click.Give.

Soldotna Library Friends (Friends of the Joyce K. Carver Memorial Library) received $1,175 from over twenty generous donors in 2013 through the Pick. Click. Give program when they filed online for their Permanent Fund Dividend. We thank them very much!

2013 was the first year that Soldotna Library Friends participated in Pick Click Give. According to the Pick. Click. Give website, 4.7 percent of Alaskans who filed online for their PFD made a charitable donation using the program. In 2012, 23,000 Alaskans raised $2.2 million for nonprofits, community foundations, and the University of Alaska campuses through Pick.Click.Give.

Please consider donating to Soldotna Library Friends this year as you file online for your PFD check. There are many local non-profit organizations that are worthy of your consideration. Soldotna Library Friends is completely operated by volunteers. All donations go directly toward supporting library programs, and purchasing books, equipment, and other materials.
