Parents need to teach kids to mind their manners

We recently attended our grand daughter’s band/choir concert at Soldotna Elementary. The kids did a great job in their performance. The problem is with the parents. There was a group of little girls that were allowed to run around during the performance, playing, running back and forth between the bleachers, where they were playing, and their parents. This did not take place in the back of the gym, it was right between the audience, and the band/choir. This had to be very distracting for the kids trying to do their best at showing us what they had learned. This was extremely rude to those students, the music teacher and the parents that were trying to enjoy the show. You can’t blame the children, it was the parents that were allowing it to happen. People, show some manners and respect. Great job to the students and Mr. Dahl!
