Last summer, my friends and I embarked on seemingly impossible mission to raise funds for a wheelchair accessible vehicle for me and my family. We set a goal of $10,000, and through different community activities organized by Brandi Kerley, and many many generous donations, that goal was reached and surpassed!
On July 11, I picked up our new 2013 Dodge Caravan that is fully wheelchair accessible, smooth and spacious, and all around perfect for our very active lifestyle. This has been the most humbling experience of my life. I am so proud to have been born and raised in this amazing community that has been so supportive and loving. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart to everyone that helped me accomplish this goal!
