John Lubbers, Assistant Scout Executive from the Great Alaska Council, spoke about new programs in Scouting and Dr. Lynn Carlson delivered the keynote address, “A Scout is physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.”

Honored with Awards for Outstanding Leadership in Cub Scout Programs were Cynthia Farrer, Pack 152; Jon and Michelle Teates and Jon and Megan Wohlers, Pack 611; Keith Pieh, Pack 669; and Lisa Henderson, Pack 151.
