Big thanks for ‘oldtimers’ lunch

Peggy Arness and I would like to thank all of the “oldtimers,” who, for the past 20 years have enjoyed “our party” on the 3rd Thursday in August and participated in “just having fun.”

The Kenai Senior Center has always hosted this event. A big thank you to all their employees and volunteers for their hard work. A lot of effort goes into entertaining two hundred people or more.

Without the efforts of our local “kids” performing various jobs all of this would not of happened.

Merrill Sikorski, Peninsula Clarion and KSRM always do a good job of advertising our event and we thank them.

Jean Brockel graciously keeps our American Heritage alive.

Next year Peggy and I will be enjoying the festivities from the audience.
