Poll appears to have predetermined conclusion

I think it was very disingenuous of Senator Micciche to use a “push poll” to gauge his constituents’ opinion regarding the Legislature’s self-induced fiscal crisis.

A typical push poll will ask a question like this: “Would you prefer to walk the plank with a gun to your head or a sabre to your back?” There is no third possible answer for those of us who do not wish to walk the plank at all.

Push polls are used to obtain a predetermined conclusion and therefore the results are not an accurate method for determining public policy. The good Senator should know this.

His poll results will be seriously tainted and should not be used for determining something important like the future of our state.
