Property taxes on my house went up 28 percent this year. Many of my Sterling neighbors saw similar increases. This is during a time in which property values have remained flat for several years. I guess the Borough thinks they can spend our money more wisely than we can. With falling oil prices, many of us in the real world, are going to go through some hard times. I would ask the Borough Administration to do the same. A much smaller government footprint would benefit us all. It’s time for a strong conservative approach to manage runaway government.
