AmVets music fest a huge success

AmVets Post 4 wants to thank everyone who helped make their May 21 fundraiser music festival a great event.

The music portion of the festival was organized by songwriter Bob Sather and friends. More than a dozen musicians were on hand and provided lively entertainment for everyone.

The fundraiser music festival would not have been possible without the generous help from the following sponsors: United Rentals; ConocoPhillips; Alaska Cab; Amos Towing; The Albatross; Peterkin Distributing; K&L Distributing; and Odom Corporation.

“We are extremely pleased with the results of our first event in our new location,” said Bruce Hardy, AmVets Post 4 manager. “We are already planning the second annual fundraiser music festival for next year.”

The new AmVets Post 4 is located on K-Beach Road across the street from Jumpin’ Junction.
