The Peninsula Art Guild is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support and celebrate local art and artists through the Kenai Fine Art Center. When a call for donations of original, local art was extended months earlier for the annual Harvest Auction fundraiser, the response was terrific. Artwork ranging from jewelry, paintings, prints and photographs to sculptures and pottery were submitted. The donated pieces were displayed September 1-30, for the Harvest Art Exhibit. Oct. 1st, art lovers, patrons and community members streamed in the door for the Harvest Art Auction fundraiser.

Musicians Maria Allison, Sue Biggs and Jack Will graciously entertained everyone and food artist Dinah Mahan astonished all with her imaginative and bountiful display of delectable edibles. Thank you to this year’s auctioneer, Tim Navarre who kept the evening moving along with good energy and humor.
