Thank you to Harvest Arts Exhibit contributers

The Peninsula Art Guild is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support and celebrate local art and artists through the Kenai Fine Art Center. When a call for donations of original, local art was extended months earlier for the annual Harvest Auction fundraiser, the response was terrific. Artwork ranging from jewelry, paintings, prints and photographs to sculptures and pottery were submitted. The donated pieces were displayed September 1-30, for the Harvest Art Exhibit. Oct. 1st, art lovers, patrons and community members streamed in the door for the Harvest Art Auction fundraiser.

The PAG thanks all the artists who generously donated their creations: Ann-Lillian Schell, Brandi Kerley, Chris Jenness, Claudette Barber, Heather Floyd, Jan Wallace, Joy Falls, Karen Fogarty, Kathy Matta, Laura Faeo, Laura Hewitt, Lilly Knackstedt, Lily Huebsch, LuAnn Reynolds, Marilyn Kay Johnson, Marion Nelson, Mary Pirtz, Megan Ward, Nancy Ward, Pam Mersch, Patricia Thomas, Ralph VanDusseldorp, Robert A. Ranch, Ron Walker, Sandra Sterling, Shannon Olds, Stephanie Cox, Thor Evenson, Valerie Schwank, Wade Wahrenbrock, and William Harper. Look for their artwork displayed on the Kenai Fine Arts Facebook page.

Musicians Maria Allison, Sue Biggs and Jack Will graciously entertained everyone and food artist Dinah Mahan astonished all with her imaginative and bountiful display of delectable edibles. Thank you to this year’s auctioneer, Tim Navarre who kept the evening moving along with good energy and humor.

We appreciate the valuable support of local businesses: 1 Crazy Cupcake, Alaska Berries, Arby’s, Beemun’s, Big Dog Construction, Chris’s Mobil
