Oilers expand ABL lead to 4 games

Peninsula has top batting average, ERA

With the league's top batting average and the league's top ERA, the Alaska Baseball League-leading Peninsula Oilers dominated the weekly ABL leaders list, which was for games played through Sunday.

The Oilers have a .245 average, while the Miners are in second at .237. Mike Miller leads the league with a .412 average, while the Bucs' Logan Davis is second at .310. Chris Mallory is seventh at .290, while Troy Channing is 10th at .284.

Miller leads the league in runs at 15, while Tanner Rust is tied for second with 13. Miller also leads the league in doubles. Patrick Wisdom and Troy Channing were tied for the league lead in homers with three, although Wisdom did homer Monday night.

Wisdom also leads the league in RBIs with 16, while Rust is second at 14 and Mallory and Miller are tied for third with 12.

Peninsula has a 1.66 ERA as a staff. The Bucs are second at 2.83.
The top four pitchers are all Oilers - John Maciel at 0.68, Jordan Mills at 0.82, Gabriel Asakura at 1.48 and J.D. Salles at 1.52. Mark Winkelman leads with 11 appearances.
