Oilers rained out at National Baseball Congress World Series

The Peninsula Oilers were scheduled to open the National Baseball Congress World Series against the Northwest (Washington) Honkers on Wednesday in Wichita, Kansas, but the game was cancelled due to thunder and lightning.

The game will be played at 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
