Prep cross-country: Seward's Knotek takes 7th at Bartlett Invite

Seward's Miles Knotek placed seventh with a time of 17 minutes, 4 seconds, in the boys five-kilometer race at the Bartlett Invitational at Bartlett High School in Anchorage on Saturday.

Knotek was the lone Seward athlete to race in the boys competition, which included 135 runners. In the girls five-kilometer, Laura Dyer and Isabel Barnwell took 68th and 69th with times of 23:06 and 23:09, respectively.

Lathrop took the boys team title with 73 points, while West won the girls crown with 85 points.
