Kenai Golf Course prepares for Atigun Cup postseason

The Kenai Open was a big success this past weekend.

I would like to thank everyone who participated. I would like to thank our sponsors Doug Jung and Safeway, and Bill Bushnell and Pizza Hut. I would also like to thank Mike Navarre for all his help and support not only for this year, but for years past too. You have helped make our event and junior program successes. Again, thank you for everything.

In the Kenai Open, Todd Eskelin was our low gross winner with a two-day total of 162. Todd had been battling injury all season long. He worked hard and got his game back together and taught us all a valuable lesson - to never give up and to keep practicing and to maintain the will to complete.

Congratulations, Todd, for a great victory in the last tournament of the season. Keep up the good work.
