Crewsers host Head of the Kenai on Kenai Lake

The Kenai Crewsers Rowing Club hosted the Head of the Kenai on Saturday at Kenai Lake. The race was three miles, with two buoyed turns.

There were rowers from the Anchorage Rowing Association, Alaska Midnight Sun Rowing Association, Kenai Crewsers Rowing Club and the Cordova Rowing Club.

This year, the regatta had a men's eight for the first time. The race featured 16 men and two female coxswains from the combined forces of the Anchorage Rowing Association, Kenai Crewsers Rowing Club and the Alaska Midnight Sun Rowing Association.
