Soldotna product Carver notches assist for Seattle University soccer

Soldotna graduate Blaine Carver registered his first assist of the season Thursday, leading the Seattle University soccer team to a 5-0 victory over the University of Mary.

Carver has two goals on the year and five points overall. The former SoHi standout, in his sophomore year at Seattle, has 10 goals for his career. He scored eight times in 2010 and was named the freshman of the year in his conference.
