Skyview netters lose to Grace, Wasilla

The Skyview volleyball team lost to Grace Christian 3-1 Friday and Wasilla 3-0 Saturday. Both games were on the road.

 


The scores against Grace Christian were 25-21, 25-22, 23-25 and 25-17, and the scores against Wasilla were 25-16, 27-25 and 25-21.


Skyview finishes the regular season 10-4 overall and 7-3 in the Northern Lights Conference.


On Friday, Holly Ramsell paced the Panthers with eight kills and six service points. Marlee Cunningham posted six kills, while Cheyenne Laber added five kills.


Naomi McMullen led the team with eight digs.


On Saturday, Britanie Whipple notched a team-best seven kills. Cunningham added six, and Ramsell had five to go with eight blocks.


Sam Reynolds tallied four service points.


The Panthers open the Northern Lights Conference tournament as a No. 1 seed Thursday at Colony.
