Kenai tops West, SoHi loses to Service

On Friday, the Kenai Central received a hat trick from Zack Zulkanycz in defeating host West 4-3 in overtime.

Zulkanycz ended the game with 5:25 left in overtime. He also tied the game with 1:26 left in regulation. His other goal came in the first period. Jake Eubank had the other goal for the Kardinals, while West had one goal in each period.

Goalie Keegan Remsen faced 36 shots, including 15 in the third period.

Soldotna lost to Service 6-0 on Friday.
