Hakkinen finishes 39th in World Cup sprint

Kasilof biathlete Jay Hakkinen finished 39th in a World Cup 10-kilometer sprint Friday in Ostersund, Sweden. Hakkinen had one miss on the range and finished with a time of 26 minutes, 23 seconds. Lowell Bailey led the U.S. with a fifth-place finish.
