Chugiak hockey tops Homer in OT

The Chugiak hockey team topped the visiting Homer Mariners in nonconference action on Friday.
With 6:05 left in overtime, Sam Hanson scored the game-winner for Chugiak.
Chugiak got on the board first in the second period when Josh Smith scored. Homer tied up the score in the third period on a goal from Mark Reutov with 6:15 to play.

On Saturday, Homer stayed on the road and lost a 5-0 nonconference affair to East.
