US men's biathlon relay takes 11th

Hakkinen struggles with shooting

The United State men’s biathlon team finished 11th in a World Cup biathlon relay on Thursday in Oberhof, Germany. Italy won the event.

Kasilof biathlete Jay Hakkinen skied the second leg for the U.S. and struggled with his shooting, taking one penalty loop on the first round and two penalty loops on the second loop.
