SoHi boys defeat Barrow in double overtime

Stars pull out dramatic victory for 2nd straight night

For the second straight night, the Soldotna boys basketball team pulled out a dramatic win at the Grace Christian Classic in Anchorage.

 

After beating Grace 70-69 on Thursday, the Stars topped Barrow 76-73 in double overtime on Friday.

Evan Withrow, Thursday's hero, led the Stars in scoring again. He had 20, while Tanner Fowler had 17, Cory Carver had 16 and Jake Darrow had 13.

For Barrow, Eddie Benson had 24 and Colin Long had 19. Barrow had three players foul out, while Garrett Bosick fouled out for the Stars.

Soldotna led 15-8 after one quarter and 30-21 at halftime, but Barrow cut the gap to 49-45 after three quarters before tying the game at the end of regulation.
