Weather scrubs sporting events

The snowy weather has jumbled the prep sports schedule.

Lumen Christi was scheduled to play at Nikolaevsk on Thursday, but those games were moved to Friday. The girls game will be at 3 p.m., while the boys play at 4:30 p.m.

Also, Anchorage schools are not traveling outside the district this weekend. Friday, East at Kenai Central girls basketball, Dimond at Soldotna girls basketball and Dimond at Soldotna hockey were canceled.

For Saturday, East at SoHi girls basketball, Dimond at Kenai Central girls basketball, Eagle River girls and boys at Seward basketball, and Dimond at Kenai hockey were canceled.

There was no word on whether the Anchorage teams would be rescheduled.
