Hakkinen takes 27th in pursuit

Kasilof biathlete Jay Hakkinen moved up to take 27th in a World Cup pursuit on Sunday in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic.

Hakkinen, who had started in 31st place, had four misses on the range in the shooting-intensive race, which features four rounds of five shots. Hakkinen finished at 37 minutes, 39.1 seconds, 2:48.3 behind winner Anton Shipulin of Russia.
