The host Homer hockey team notched a 2-1 North Star Conference victory over Kenai Central on Saturday.
The Mariners finish at 1-9-0 in the NSC and will be the No. 6 seed when the conference tourney starts Thursday at the Soldotna Sports Center. The Kards, with a 2-7-1 record, will be the No. 5 seed.
