Soldotna girls 43, Palmer 30
The Stars beat the Moose Friday night at the Homer Winter Carnival Tournament, outscoring them 17-8 in the third quarter.
Kaillee Skjold and Julie Litchfield had 10 points each for Soldotna, while Britney Simmerman scored 14 points to lead Palmer.
The Stars are now 8-5 overall this year.
Grace Christian girls 42, Homer 19
Homer lost to Grace on Friday at the Homer Winter Carnival Tournament.
Homer was outscored 26-9 in the second half to seal the win for Grace.
Elissa Tutt scored six points to lead the Mariners, and Maggie Koplin had five points as well.
Homer boys 49, Grace Christian 34
The Mariners poured on the points in the second half to beat Grace on Friday at the Homer Winter Carnival Tournament.
Leading 19-15 at the half, Homer proceeded to outscore Grace 30-18 in the second half to win.
Homer was led by Dyllan Day, who recorded 13 points. Luke Offord led Grace with 10 points.
Barrow boys 64, Seward 25
The Seward boys lost big to the Barrow Whalers on Friday at the 35th annual Valdez Elks Tournament.
Jeff Buchanan led Seward’s effort with nine points total, and Jalen Terry had eight points.
Xavier Edwards of Barrow had 13 points, along with 12 points by Eddie Benson.
