CIA graduate Forsi earns All-America honors

Brooke Forsi, a 2008 graduate of Cook Inlet Academy, earned All-American status in all three events in which she competed at the NAIA Indoor National Track Championships in Geneva, Ohio, from March 1 to 3.

Forsi is a senior at Biola University in Los Angeles.

She took fifth place in the 600-meter dash with a time of 1 minute, 35.52 seconds. Forsi also ran a leg on the 3,200 relay, which took third. She also ran the 400 leg on the distance medley relay, helping her team to second place. The distance medley also has runners going 800, 1,200 and 1,600 meters.

Forsi will graduate in May with a degree in speech disorders and would like to attend graduate school next year.
