SoHi softball shuts out Skyview

Soldotna shut out Skyview 9-0 Tuesday afternoon at Soldotna in Northern Lights Conference action.
“We were hitting nicely, and scoring, so it worked out well for us,” Soldotna coach Dave Cleveland said.
Nikki Hegge pitched the entire game, recording eight strikeouts, and giving up two hits.
The Stars scored two runs in the first inning, followed by one in the second and six in the fourth.
Jordan Sedy hit 2-2 with two RBI’s, and Abby Hanna recorded a triple, as well as two RBI’s.
Soldotna now has a 9-4 overall record, 5-2 in the conference, and host the Homer Mariners on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Skyview remains winless, but will play Kenai at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
