NLC softball announces all-conference team

The Northern Lights Conference announced its all-conference softball team in early June.

 

Homer, which won the league, got Hannah LaRue, Monica Davis and Lauren Cashman on the first team. Brooke DeVaney and Kayla Hunt made the second team.

Soldotna finished second in the league, earning the NLC’s other state berth. On the first team for the Stars were Kaycee Munn, Jordan Sedy and Nikki Hegge. Serena Prior made the second team.

Kenai Central also landed three players on the first team. Representing the Kardinals were Briana King, Hope Steffensen and Carly Norvelle.

Skyview put Cat Schoessler on the first team and Sam Reynolds on the second team.

Finally, Kodiak had Danika Catt and Leila Pyle on the first team.
